Her first video was recorded lesson with a professional following studying the script. Jonathan Glassner stated that they were awestruck by Jessica's performance during her first training lesson. Jessica had never been in an important role prior to the US because all of her films were shot in Australia. Jessica's expertise in mixed martial arts, weapons and horse riding, along with her ability to do stunts, provide her the opportunity to play an impressive female role. She has studied boxing as well as muay Thai in Australia in addition to taking classes at a mixed martial art gym. Jake Stormoen was on his Season 4 set when he met a wandering dog. This dog was actually an abandoned puppy who was living on a setting. Jessica fostered both puppies.
